Lightning Talk: Dialogue Tools to Transform Conflict with the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh

“Either-or questions get us stuck in an oppositional conversation. Dialogue on the other hand invites us to ask bigger, perhaps more important questions: What do we care about in our community? What might we envision together?”

John Sarrouf, Executive Director

Essential Partners

In 2020–2021, Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh partnered with Essential Partners to train library staff and community members on the Reflective Structured Dialogue approach to facilitating challenging conversations.

EP's John Sarrouf and Bob Stains joined Jessica Bayless from the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh for a lightning talk on Dialogue Tools to Transform Conflict.
