Salons and Workshop Series Offer New Learning Opportunities

February 10, 2015

Public Conversations Project is expanding its workshop offerings this year!

Mix it up with the experts with our evening Salons.

This spring we're kicking off a series of evening Salons with Public Conversations, each featuring one of our founders or senior practitioners focusing on a special area of their expertise and experience. In four salons in the spring and four in the fall, they'll lead conversations on topics such as “Using Internal Family Systems Therapy in Facilitation,” and “Gentle Battles Against Deadly Stereotypes.” Created with both new and experienced facilitators in mind, these salons will allow you to get to know our practitioners and their work while you wrestle with new approaches to dialogue and facilitation. The salons are a great value, and a good opportunity to network with others interested in similar work. Our first salon is in March – come see what it’s all about!

Deepen your learning with a Workshop Series.

Public Conversations now offers workshops as part of three Series that encompass the three broad components of the Public Conversations model, developed over the past 25 years. We created the series to provide clear pathways to help you as you work in your field. Through the series, you will be able to specifically focus your learning on dialogue, facilitation, or interpersonal communication skills. Learn more about the series here, including new workshops debuting this year.

Our practitioners share some of their first big lessons in dialogue, and what they're still learning today in this blog, which celebrates the importance of ongoing learning.
